Last week’s ‘Charla’, ‘Quién Soy Yo’?’

Quick update on last week’s conversation class, ‘Quién Soy Yo?’

It was the kick off class and I was, inevitably, a little concerned that it should go well.

I needn’t have worried - it went really well. I had the loveliest class, the loveliest feedback.

We had a fun game that couldn’t have been delivered offline in the same way, and it was great for the team to just chat. Feedback was lovely.

“Muchas gracias Claire, that was a fun session, I enjoyed it”

This week’s Charla, ‘Fiestas’?’

I wrote a little bit about the fiestas of San Juan on LinkedIN: Fiestas of San Juan.

Basically it’s a national fiesta. We’re the day before the official date, and in some places the party has already been going for several days.

Las fiestas are an essential part of Spain, each with it’s own tradition and folklore attached.

So for anyone who’s still standing on Thursday evening, that’s the topic for our ‘Charla’…. fiestas.

Do the class your way. Vino? Sangria? Cerveza? All fine - sip and learn.

Un abanico (fan)? Sounds pretty smart in this heatwave we’re having.

Churros con chocolate? Normally I’d be there, but in this heat….

However you come, just bring your best self, a willingness to talk, to laugh, and we’ll all be on good - great - terms!

Let the party begin…..
