What to do if you want/need to cancel….
Refund Policy: Classes with Claire
As a general rule, Classes with Claire does not refund booked courses as commitments are made on the basis of bookings, such as the hall, purchasing or printing class/course materials and upgraded subscriptions to services on the basis of numbers.
However, at my discretion, the following is how this will work in reality:.
Online Classes:
You may pick a different date so as not to lose your money - simply contact me and let me know your preferred date;
You can use the money against another ‘Classes with Claire’ course that’s available for booking - simply contact me to discuss;
You may transfer the class to someone else - simply email the change to me (hello [at] clairethompson.co.uk,
You can hold the ‘credit’ against a course at a later stage.
If I have to cancel, you will be offered the choice between a refund and rebooking for another date.
Single Class Bookings:
You can pick a different date so as not to lose your money - simply contact me and let me know your preferred date;
You can use the money against another ‘Classes with Claire’ course that’s available for booking - simply contact me to discuss;

You can hold the ‘credit’ against a course at a later stage.

(Classes are subject to minimum numbers.)
Full 8-week Course Bookings:
Up to six weeks before the course begins you may have a full refund, subject to a £20 administration fee)
You may pick another course¡ or couses: contact me and let me know your preferred date. subject to space;
You can use the money against another ‘Classes with Claire’ course (or courses) currently available for booking - simply contact me to discuss;
You may transfer the class to someone else - simply email the change to me (hello [at] clairethompson.co.uk,
You may hold the ‘credit’ against a course at a later stage . (We can even discuss what that might be.)
If you have already started classes:
if you wish to cancel, but are at least three weeks into the course (ie you’ve given the classes a chance), cancellation is - of course- possible
Classes that you have attended - or could have had because they were reserved for you - will be charged at the price of individual classes;
Any remaining classes, unrefunded, may be transferred to someone else.
If I have to cancel any class within the eight weeks, you will be offered the choice between a refund and rebooking for another time/date.

I want you to learn and love Spanish.
I want you to enjoy your classes.
I want you to be happy with your classes.
I understand that life sometimes gets in the way.
I understand that learning somerhing new can be hard, and that I’’m not perfect.
By talking through whatever makes you want to cancel, we can come to a mutually beneficial solution. Let’s talk!
